What is Bomani Beauty MD?

Bomani Beauty MD is a vegan skincare and haircare brand founded by board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Munirah “Dr. Muni” Bomani. She leads the company as CEO alongside her cousin and COO, Inali “Lali” Pichardo.

Inspired by Caribbean plant-based traditions and a background in science, we create easy-to-use moisturizers for simple skin and hair care routines.

Do you develop your own formulas?

Yes. Dr. Muni and her sister, Dr. Nichola Bomani-Gonzalez, develop our formulas in-house, drawing on their knowledge of biology, chemistry, and botanicals.

Are your products vegan? Do you test on animals?

Our products are vegan, and we do not test on animals.

Where are your products made?

We make our products at our facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Our team handles manufacturing, batch quality checks, labeling, and shipping, keeping each step close to home.

How do I choose the right product?

Consider your skin or hair care goals, scent preferences, and each product’s intended use. Review the description, ingredients, and directions before purchasing.

Where can I find the ingredients?

Full ingredient lists are available on each product page. If you have a question about an ingredient, contact us before ordering.

What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?

Review the full ingredient list before use and patch test new products. If you have a known allergy or skin condition, ask your healthcare provider for guidance before trying a new product.

Are your products scented?

Our products are scented except for Oatmeal Oasis moisturizer. We use organic essential oils to scent our moisturizers at concentrations of 1% or less. Review each product’s ingredient list to help you choose based on your preferences and sensitivities.

Can I use your products while pregnant or nursing?

If you’re pregnant, nursing, or under a healthcare provider’s care, review the ingredient list with your provider before trying a new product.

Can I use more than one Bomani Beauty MD product in my routine?

Check each product’s directions when building your routine. Our bundles offer ideas for product pairings. Introduce new products one at a time and patch test before use.

How should I store my products?

Store your products at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

How long do your products last after opening?

Use your products within 12 months of opening and discard any remaining product after that time.

Orders and Customer Support

What payment methods do you accept?

Choose from the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email info@bomanibeautymd.com as soon as possible with your order number and requested change or cancellation. Orders that have already shipped cannot be changed.

What if my package is delayed or lost?

Check your tracking information first. If your order still hasn’t arrived three days after the expected delivery date, email info@bomanibeautymd.com with your order number so we can look into it.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact info@bomanibeautymd.com as soon as possible with your order number and a description of the issue so we can help resolve it.

What should I do if I have a reaction to a product?

Stop using the product. If the reaction is serious, seek medical attention right away.

Please also email info@bomanibeautymd.com with the product name and details of your experience. We do not offer refunds for allergic reactions or sensitivities, but we can provide a discount code toward another product.
